I have a great idea – can you get me funded?
Curing Capital will introduce you to our network of Venture Capitalists (VC’s), Investment Bankers (IB’s), Angels, High Net worth Investors and other accredited investors. We arrange for information to be forwarded or sent to you, and we will help facilitate meetings with our network.
Curing Capital will not fund you nor will we ask the funders we introduce you to fund you. Who better to sell your company to a funder than yourself. We are strictly 100% an introducer. What we can tell you is that getting funded is only as good as your tools. Your Business plans, executive summary, financial projections, website, CEO, audits, news, product uniqueness, and team experience are just some of the tools needed in securing your funding. We can’t guarantee you’ll get funded, but having as many tools as possible is what will separate you from the others and give you a better chance at being funded.
Curing Capital cares about the projects that it is involved with and understands the challenge that many CEOs and business owners face. Our goal is to provide an introductory service that will lead to the funding of the client. We’d like to think that closing the transaction isn’t as important as actually finding the right source to fund your company. Let’s face it, if your product or service stands apart from the rest then doesn’t it all come down to finding the right funder anyway? Try selling your idea to funding sources that kick tires, and then let’s talk about how important it is to be introduced to the right funder or funding source. We will not advise or guide a funder to fund you. Our goal is to introduce you only to as many funding sources as possible and then give you the stage to sell your company.
I need funding this month / next week / tomorrow / in five minutes – can you make this happen?
We would never promise you this and quite frankly, anyone who does we suggest you run away from. This is called a “Firm Commitment” and unless you are doing $50+ Million in Sales or a you are a Homeland Security type of company, very few Investment Bankers are doing these types of deals. What we do believe you should do to narrow down funders capable of completing your requirements is to ask for references. I mean ask for lots of them. This is the one item that will level the playing field. You are facing on a daily basis Investment Bankers, Hedge funds, VCs, Angels, private equity and a plethora of funding sources to decide from. Unless you know them personally, the only way to decipher from good and bad in most cases is to ask for references. Then you will have your answer as to whether or not they can help you meet your timing goals in regards to your request for funding help.
Timing is always critical when you don’t have any money or it is getting to close for comfort. For those looking for equity or debt financing from angel investors, venture capitalists, private equity investors, it’s typically a longer process that can easily last from 4 to 6 months if things go well. Pushing your funder to get the funding in as quickly as possible may make you feel better initially but ultimately, the majority of the times this leads to a disappointment. Finding a funder in this day and age is a time consuming process, and we are here to help shorten this time measurably so that you do not waste your energy following a trail of disappointing meetings with tire kickers.
Does Curing Capital provide funding directly?
We believe that funding you directly would be a conflict of interest, so we do not provide funding. What we do for you is introduce you to our network of funders and funding sources. We will also help you put into shape your business tools, such as a business plan or executive summary. Don’t give a funding source a chance to find problems, be prepared and have all the right answers and not just answers. Sometimes, finding a good auditor or attorney is required, and we can help out greatly with that as well by referring several of each to you. You may have just one chance in your lifetime to get funded and we will help prepare you for that.
Can Curing Capital introduce me to investors?
Yes and no. If the investors are accredited, we would be happy to. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accredited_investor . Direct introductions are always the best way to meet accredited investors. Our database contains at any given time over 16,000 accredited investors, ranging from VCs, Angels, Investment Bankers and high net worth investors. We will develop a one-two page write-up on your company that you approve before we send it to our database.
We will put together a one page teaser with your help. The teaser will describe your Company without mentioning your Company name, product name or any officer’s or director’s name on it. The whole idea is to encourage/motivate the funder into requesting a full package on your Company. This is a very effective way to engage our funders. Then we will send the teaser out to approximately 15,000+ venture capitalists, high net worth investors, hedge funds and angels. The distribution of the teaser typically results in 30 to 300 requests for additional information on the featured Company. We believe in transparency, and as a result you will be cc:d on every request for information on your company.

I’m an investor, how do I use your website?
First of all, are you an accredited investor? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accredited_investor . Once you have determined that you are indeed an accredited investor, then go ahead and browse through our various featured companies listed on our website under current clients and on the home page. If you would like to see a full package on one of our featured companies, you can click on “request a full package” or go to contact/ request a package and fill out the form. As soon as you do that, we will follow the directions of that particular company and either have the company send you a package directly or we help with the request. Curing Capital will not help you in any way in making a decision to invest or not. What we will do is bring you a wide variety of companies to review and speak to directly.
