Spray Valves/Nozzles That Are Used in Prescription and OTC Drugs Have Been Using The Same Valve Technology For The Past 100 Years, Until Now!

6 Business Verticals Identified. Each Represent In Excess of $1 Billion in Revenue! (2 of the 6 Applications are described below)

Curing Capital is pleased to present a Company with the first device, which will replace spray valve technology as we know it today.  Current technology hasn’t changed in over 100 years.   A perfect example of the old technology and how it fails on a daily basis are  nasal sprays.   We have all used them at one time or another with very limited results.     What is unique about this device is that medication reaches the entire nasal cavity as well as the paranasal sinuses and is delivered so gently that there is virtually no sensation of liquid entering the nasal cavity to the patient.  It eliminates taste, discomfort and most side effects associated with current nasal delivery devices.  To date, over $6 Million has been spent by the CEO alone on this technology.   Look at the market verticals and just one application embraced makes the numbers staggering.

Life Saving Technology:

This company has already demonstrated efficacy in humans in clinical trials with patients who have Alzheimer’s.  A Phase I 21 patient study funded by the NIH was completed in 2007 with results published in the peer-reviewed journal Neurology magazine.  Following the success of that clinical study a 90 patient Phase II program was undertaken, also funded by the NIH, and was completed in early 2010.  This technology appeared in The Alzheimer’s Project on HBO and on ABC World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer and Maria Shriver.

Alzheimer’s is just one segment that is in serious need of this technology.  But other sectors also have urgent requirements.  The Company has reached an agreement with a specialty pharmaceutical company that is working on a treatment for brain tumors in which the device we have been speaking of is currently the only solution to the delivery of the drug into the patient.   This technology allows reaching deep into the nasal cavity, up into the olfactory region, beyond where any other device can reach.

The Next Generation Delivery Device

The patented valve technology is designed to assist both pharmaceutical and consumer products.  Here is a small list of liquid drugs the technology addresses directly:

  • Nasal
  • Ocular
  • CNS (nose-to-brain)
  • Dermal/Transdermal
  • Throat
  • Lungs
  • Mouth

Company is the Recipient of the Frost Sullivan Award for Technology Excellence

There are a myriad of different uses in other industries including the $10 billion a year cosmetics industry.  The Company was approached by the world’s largest fragrance manufacturer inquiring as to whether or not the technology could do the same thing with their liquids as it could do for pharmaceuticals. The same 100 year old valve technology that was failing patients and pharmaceutical companies, was also failing to allow the cosmetics companies to launch formulations their R&D had developed.  Both pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry face similar problems nowadays in that the current technology cannot deliver “thick liquids” of high viscosity without loss of integrity in droplet size or flow control.   This technology can handle these requirements with ease and has multiple applications.      Sizeable test were repeatedly tried by different cosmetics and pharmaceutics companies, with huge success so far to date.

The world’s largest consumer healthcare company recently signed an agreement with the company to develop the next generation eye care delivery device.

This is the only technology that has the ability to produce any droplet size, atomization rate and exit velocity.  Over 100 drugs in nasal alone are in development, most of which cannot be delivered with current technology.  In the next five years, $100 billion in name-brand drugs are expected to go off-patent and this technology offers significantly improved life-cycle management.
